About the event
As the veil thins, the dead draw near. Join practitioner and scholar Rebecca Beattie for an immersive Samhain experience that explores the British and Pagan traditions of honouring the dead. Together we’ll remember the old ways: burial mounds, ancestral rites, the sacred role of grief and reclaim death as a powerful, natural part of the Witch’s year.
In this workshop, we will:
Journey through the history and purpose of Celtic barrows
Explore death rituals across Western European Pagan traditions
Learn how to build meaningful relationships with our dead
Reflect on what it means to live well… and die well
Hold a ritual to honour our sacred dead
This is a space of reverence, remembrance, and reconnection. All are welcome: witches, seekers, grief-tenders, and the ancestor-curious.
Come to listen. Come to honour. Come to remember.
Please bring with you a momento of your sacred dead.
