Wheel Of the Year: SAMHAIN

As the veil thins, the dead draw near. Join practitioner and scholar Rebecca Beattie for an immersive Samhain experience that explores the British and Pagan traditions of honouring the dead. Together we’ll remember the old ways: burial mounds, ancestral rites, the sacred role of grief and reclaim death as a powerful, natural part of the Witch’s year.

In this workshop, we will:

• Journey through the history and purpose of Celtic barrows

• Explore death rituals across Western European Pagan traditions

• Learn how to build meaningful relationships with our dead

• Reflect on what it means to live well… and die well

• Hold a ritual to honour our sacred dead

This is a space of reverence, remembrance, and reconnection. All are welcome: witches, seekers, grief-tenders, and the ancestor-curious.

About Rebecca Beattie

Raised among the wild beauty of Dartmoor, Rebecca’s practice is rooted in nature, enchantment, and tradition. A trained Wiccan practitioner with over 20 years of study, she brings depth, warmth, and scholarship to her rituals. Her journey has included study at the College of Psychic Studies, Master Practitioner training in NLP, Hypnosis and Timeline Therapy, and a PhD in Creative Writing with a focus on the nature mystic Mary Webb. Her work blends the magical with the scholarly, and invites you into the heart of both.

You'll find us on Church Street in the heart of Launceston, steps away from Oxfam and next to the candy shop. Or, if you're feeling whimsical, occasionally, you can just follow the fragrant scent of incense... Church Street has limited vehicle access between 10am and 4pm.
