A Witch’s Guide to the Major Arcana

Sat 06 Sept

|

Lanstefan Arts

A grounded, experiential way to learn the Major Arcana through your own life, rather than through memorised meaning. Guided by ontological coaching and the living magic of tarot, each card becomes a mirror, revealing how you see, speak, and shift through the patterns that shape you.

Time & Location

06 Sept 2025, 14:00 – 18:00

Lanstefan Arts, 28 Church St, Launceston PL15 8AR, UK

About the event

This experience opens a new way of learning the cards. One where the symbolism stays in the background, and your own lived perspective takes the lead. You will learn through presence, reflection, and the shared conversations created in the room. The Major Arcana offer a way to see yourself more clearly. They reflect how you relate, respond, and make meaning. Each card holds the potential to reveal how you’ve been shaped and how you might begin to shift. Each archetype becomes something you can recognise within yourself. The learning happens not by studying external systems, but by observing your own patterns and how they respond to the imagery, language and structure of the tarot.

What the afternoon includes:

  • Personal exploration of your own Major Arcana card, you will pick your card at the beginning and together we will explore what feels significant in your life. This becomes a private reading in dialogue with the group. As your card is explored, others will also begin to recognise aspects of themselves and in turn, their cards will become part of your own learning.

  • A shared group session, where each participant’s card is reflected upon through open discussion. These conversations allow everyone to encounter more of the arcana, grounded in real language and experience.

  • Inquiry into your own way of being, supported by ontological coaching. You’ll observe how your language, emotions and physical stance interact with the cards, and what that reveals about your present orientation in life.

  • Creation of a tarot charm, shaped by your Mayor Arcana. This is gentle introduction to tarot magic, something to carry forward and keep close.

  • A digital worksheet, sent after the session, to support further reflection on the full Major Arcana once you’ve had time to meet them through our time together.

This is an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the tarot while also stepping into a more nuanced relationship with yourself. The cards become clearer when they are met through your own story, your own voice, your own way of seeing.

Twelve places available. Held with care. Designed for meaningful sustainable learning.
