About the event

We will make our way from Rough Tor car park up to Showery Tor with its beautiful rock formations, cairn & views. After a nature meditation and presence practice, we will make some guided drawings here & rest, before ascending for more drawing amongst the rocks of Rough Tor. No experience needed, just an openness to enjoy the process. Adults & older teens welcome. (Not suitable for children nor four legged friends) 


Karen Howse is an artist wanderer based in Launceston. Her 2025 exhibition at Lanstefan Arts ‘Stones, rocks and other beings’ explored Fernacre stone circle, near Rough Tor, with printmaking and drawing.


Laurie Gutteridge is an intentional space holder. Her work is rooted in presence & simplicity and is shaped by the natural cycles of life.
