How can a 2,000-year-old story know you better than you know yourself?
The night before summer solstice, traditional oral storyteller and founder of Cornwall’s ‘Recalling Fire’, Sam Crosby invites you to fall into the otherworld and see what you come back up with. Put your bear skin on. Test your wings. Let the river water come up to your thighs. This is the stuff of mythic meaning-making.
Here’s the only pact we ask of you:
Sam brings the myth alive. You bring the part of you that’s ready to be moved.
Sam will follow a scent, guiding us through a handful of stories in his grounded, unscripted approach, he knows the bones of the tale, but their soul is always new each time they’re spoken.
